Truck Drivers
1. Meet all the requirements of the United States Department of Transportation.
2. Possess Class A Drivers License/Medical Card with hazardous materials, tanker, and double endorsements.
3. Enrolled in the California Highway Patrol pull notice program.
4. Enrolled in the U.S.D.O.T. Drug Screening Program: Pre-placement, random, probable cause, and post accident.
5. 24-Hour emergency response and safe handling of hazardous materials trained.
6. Complete 8 hour refresher training annually.
7. Bi-monthly safety training meetings.
8. Enrolled in the United Pumping Service medical surveillance program. Complete physical examinations every two years.
Technicians
1. Meet all the requirements of the United States Department of Transportation.
2. Possess Class A Drivers License/Medical Card with hazardous materials, tanker, and double endorsements.
3. Enrolled in the California Highway Patrol pull notice program.

5. 40-Hour trained in hazardous waste operation and emergency response.
6. Complete 8 hour refresher training annually.
7. Bi-monthly safety training meetings.
8. Enrolled in the United Pumping Service medical surveillance program. Complete physical examinations annually.
Training
OSHA HAZARDOUS WASTE OPERATIONS TRAINING
40 Hours of training for general site worker to fulfill OSHA regulatory requirements (29 CFR 1910.120) Contents: Haz Class, Site Char, Reg. Comp. Pric. of Ind Hygiene, PPE, Med. Surveillance, Site Control, Safety Plants, Instruments, Eng/Admin. Controls, Confined Space, E.R. Procedures, Decon, Site Emerg., Trans. & Disp. of Haz. Waste.
OSHA HAZARDOUS WASTE OPERATIONS TRAINING
24 Hour training to fulfill OSHA Regulatory requirements for occasional site workers. Topics include most previously mentioned above in the 40 hour training, the training is condensed and geared towards Transportation and Disposal.
OSHA HAZARDOUS WASTE REFRESHER TRAINING
For those individuals who participated in either of the above training is required to attend annual 8 hour training. This annual training is required within one year of the initial training. Discussion & review of changes in Federal & State Regulations and upcoming legislation.
OSHA SITE SUPERVISOR TRAINING
8 hour additional specialized training to fulfill OSHA Regulatory requirements for Supervisors/Managers 29 CFR 1910.120 Manadatory by SARA. Supervisors and on-site management that are directly responsible of, or who supervise employees engaged in, hazardous waste operations shall receive 8 hours additional specialized training covering employee safety and site operations.
BI-MONTHLY SAFETY TRAINING MEETINGS
2 hours training classes are attended by drivers and technicians where topics are reviewed as follows:
HM 126 HM 181; HM 180 DOT SAFETY REGULATIONS; CAL. EPA REGULATIONS; RIGHT TO KNOW HAZ. COMM.

Insurance
1. Motor carrier policies of insurance with public liability/Zurich Insurance, coverage of $5,000,000.00
2. General liability/sudden and accidental pollution/Zurich Insurance coverage of $5,000,000.00
3. Pollution legal liability/Zurich insurance coverage of $3,000,000.00
4. Automobile and small truck liability Zurich Insurance coverage of $5,000,000.00
5. Workers compensation and employees liability/California compensation company, coverage of $1,000,000.00
